One of the anticipated movies in Tamil was crime thriller drama Ratsasan, that has been in the making since 3 years, and the movie was directed by Ramkumar who had previously directed the rural comedy caper Mundasupatti starring Vishnu Vishal and Nandita Swetha.
Ratsasan revolves around a cop played by Vishnu Vishal and a case he handles which involves a mystery killer targeting kids, and how he unravels the mystery behind the case. The dusky beauty Amala Paul plays a deglam role

Vishnu's romantic interest in the movie.
Ratsasan,
has music by Ghibran, also stars KaaliVenkatt, Radharavi, and released worldwide on October 5, 2018. The Telugu remake will be done by Bellamkonda and now there are reports that Amala herself will be doing the female lead once again.
