tollywood has been shaken, ever since the news of a US couple running a sex racket, by using the cover of telugu associations to exploit telugu heroines and use them in prostitution, came out after the couple was arrested.
While there are several

and well-known heroines who are suspected to be involved in the scandal, including a prominent data-size zero heroine, and heroines based out of chennai and bangalore, another tollywood actress had data-faced an embarrassing situation.Golden girl Mehreen Peerzada, who was returning from Vancouver, canada was questioned by US department of immigration and homeland officials after she had said that she's a telugu actress. Mehreen later said it was an embarrassing situation, and that she was not aware of the sex racket case and reaffirmed that tollywood is what provides her bread and butter. The actress is currently working along with dhanush for the tamil movie 'Pataas'.
