A major decision in Thamizh Padam
Director CS Amudhan debuted in kollywood way back in 2010 with the movie Thamizh Padam starring shiva and Disha Pandey. This movie was the kollywood industry's first spoof film and was successful and had a successful sequel Thamizh Padam 2.0 too.
Recently Netflix india asked the question "Who's the first character you think of when you see the letter D?", and editor of Thamizh Padam T suresh, posted an image of D, the villain of Thamizh Padam a role played by singer Paravai Muniyamma.
In response to Suresh's question, CS Amudhan responded "The decision to make Paati the D, as well as Annan Shanmugasundaram a cbi officer were last-minute decisions made just a few days before shoot & the team, had to scramble to make it possible. A sad reckoning that both of them are not with us today." The director also revealed that he is ready to make 'Thamizh Padam 3' and it is possible only if 'Mirchi' Siva allots his call sheet dates. He also added that he is supporting OTT releases as most of the low budget movies couldn't make it to theaters.
