'Pushpa' is an upcoming telugu action thriller movie written and directed by Sukumar. The movie is funded by naveen Yerneni and Y. ravi shankar of Mythri movie Makers banner along with Muttamsetty Media. allu arjun essays the lead role while rashmika mandanna does the female lead role. jagapathi babu, prakash raj, Dhananjay, and sunil are part of the supporting cast. devi sri prasad has composed tunes.
The technical team involves Miroslaw Kuba Brozek for Cinematography and Karthika srinivas for editing. The movie is a Pan-India film and it is scheduled to release on august 13, 2021. Fahadh Faasil is doing the role of antagonist in this movie. Now due to the upsurge of Corona Positive cases, there are speculations that the movie might be postponed to a later date. The makers also kept mum regarding these speculations.
As the movie is a Pan-India project, the delay also seemed inevitable. But, a close source in the team revealed that there is no truth to these speculations as the team is determined to release the movie as per the schedule. The shooting is also happening with limited crew and as per the guidelines issued by the Government.
