Vijay Sethupathi's Dual Role movie to release directly on OTT platform
The second wave of Corona has once again shaken the entire film industry and most of the shootings have been called off and theaters are facing occupancy crisis due to Government's strict orders. Many actors and actresses are also getting tested positive for Corona and the situation seems worse than ever. Many movies which are gearing up for a release are now moving towards OTT platforms.
Vijay Sethupathi earlier acted in dual roles for a movie titled 'Tughlaq Durbar' and the movie is written and directed by delhi prasad Deenadayal. The movie cast includes vijay Sethupathi, Parthiban, raashi khanna and Manjima Mohan. Seven Screen Studio and Viacom 18 Studios funded this movie together as a joint venture. Govind Vasantha who earlier composed tunes for '96' has composed music for this venture.
Raashi Khanna has done the female lead role. Initially, aditi rao hydari was touted to do the female lead role, but she was replaced by Raashi Khanna. The team was planning to release the movie this Summer. But as the situation doesn't look good, the team has decided to move on and now the movie will release on Disney Plus Hotstar platform.
