Jyothika’s mother-in-law has a condition for her to marry Suriya!
Jyothika is one of the most talented actresses in South. Though she hasn’t done more direct telugu films, we often get to see her in many dubbing films. Even after marriage she is riding high in her career with a handful of hit movies. jyothika and Suriya tied the knot in 2006. They had a love marriage.
At first Suriya’s family didn’t allow the marriage, but later they respected Suriya’s decision and gave their blessings to him. The duo fell in love while shooting for the ‘Kakku Kakku’ movie. He immediately informed his parents about his love and his wish to marry Jyothika. His parents were hesitant at first, but later agreed.
However, Jyothika’s mother-in-law has a condition, which is so sweet. Yes! jyothika in an interview revealed that her mother-in-law laid a condition before her and that is to speak in Tamil. She said so because both Suriya’s mother and father don’t know english or Hindi. So, she laid a condition before jyothika to speak in tamil only.
Jyothika too happily agreed to the condition and learnt tamil language as quickly as possible. jyothika is a punjabi by birth and lived and brought up in maharashtra and Punjab.
