She acted not only in tollywood but also in bollywood with all the top heroes at that time. jayaprada fell in love with a big producer srikanth Nahata and married him which was a sensation as he is already married and has children by that time.
However, jayaprada forced srikanth, who had been intimate for four years before marriage, to get married. Finally they got married secretly on june 22, 1986 at a five star hotel in mumbai without the knowledge of his wife Chandra. After learning about their marriage, Chandra made a lot of fuss over the matter. She not only harassed her husband but also started harassing Jayapradha. It was said that Jayapradha committed suicide at one stage as she could not bear the torture of Chandra. Recently srikanth passed away.
Srikanth Nahata is the son of one-time producer Sundarlal Nahata. He also made three films with superstar krishna, including Agent Gopi in which jayaprada was the heroine. srikanth was impressed by her beauty and agility and fell in love with her.
