KGF 2 will release as Planned confirms Director with a Tweet
'KGF-2' is one of the most awaited movies in India. The period action movie is written and directed by prashanth neel and it is bankrolled by vijay kiragandur under the banner Hombale Films. It is a proper sequel to the 2018 movie 'KGF: Chapter 1' and the sequel features Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty, raveena tandon, and prakash raj in prominent roles.
Even the technicians are retained from the predecessor. The expectations for the movie are higher. Suriya's relative SR Prabhu has bagged the tamil rights of the movie while dil raju has bagged the telugu rights of the movie. raveena tandon will be seen as Ramika Sen who is a new addition to the sequel. Sonu Gowda bala Krishna essays the role of Inayath Khaleel in the movie.
Director prashanth neel who took twitter to wish him a Happy Birthday confirmed that the movie will release on July 16, 2021, as planned already. In the poster, he tweeted, we can see an ink stamp mentioning the release date.
So, this ensures that the makers wanted to release the movie as planned earlier and there won't be any delay. So it is clear that 'KGF-2' will be the first big release post the Second wave of Pandemic. This is indeed a good sign as it will be a crowd-puller and the audience can storm the theaters.
