Who is playing the leading lady in Papanasam 2?
The Million Dollar Question right now on everyone's mind is, who is going to pair with kamal haasan in the famous sequel of 'Papanasam' movie? As Gautami is not on good terms with kamal haasan, the team is on the hunt for another suitable female lead and lots of names like Meena, nadhiya were brought into the radar. Recently, during her Q&A session with fans, meena answered this question.
'Drishyam' starring mohanlal and meena was a stupendous success and the sequel which got a direct-to-digital release made a good reception as well. The same movie was made under the title 'Papanasam' in tamil with nivetha thomas doing the role of Kamal Haasan's daughter. It has been speculated that 'Papanasam 2' is now going on floors and meena is likely to do the female lead role instead of Gautami.
While answering a question, she just transferred the onus on kamal haasan to answer the question of she will be doing the female lead role. Now, there are reports that pooja kumar might be doing the female lead role in the sequel to 'Papanasam' as nadhiya and meena are imposing lots of conditions to act in this venture.
