Toofaan is the more refined version of Sulthan from salman Khan. Unlike Sulthan where there were several high moments created for the actor here in Toofaan the moments were created for the character Aziz ali instead of Farhan Akhtar. The redemption of Aziz ali happens twice in the film and I personally felt it to be the most compelling and satisfying and beautifully created part.
Mrunal Thakur was gorgeous as ever and unlike other actresses who were constantly used as eye candy in mainstream commercial films the character ananya played by her has some serious character to it and she feels the desire and has been the primary source of Aziz Ali's redemption.
Definitely not Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's best but surely it isn't the worst either. Toofan isn't a Sports/Drama rather the movie is moved through Drama and sports played a small part which I felt dragged the film. If you are into boxing and a fan of Farhan Akhtar's acting this is your go-to movie. While watching Toofan, we recommend you lower your expectations and the movie Toofan will be worth your watch for sure and we promise you that.
