Drushyam 2 might release on this date
Venkatesh’s next release ‘Drushyam 2’ is expected to premiere on Hotstar for Vinayakar Chathurthi(September 9 or 10).
Venkatesh is still being garnered with applauds for his performance in Narappa. The movie premiered on amazon Prime last week and has been the talk of the town ever since. Venkatesh’s next release will be the thriller drama ‘Drushyam 2’. The first part became a raging hit in Tollywood. The original second part that was released in malayalam a few months back as well got unanimous positive reviews. Hence the hopes are high among tollywood circles for Drushyam 2 as well to replicate the same.
Apparently, like ‘Narappa’ Drushyam 2 skips theatrical release due to Covid-19 outage. Since the date when theatres will be reopened remains unclear the team has opted for OTT release. Disney Hotstar will be premiering the movie and the date of premiering is expected to be september 9th or 10th(Vinayakar Chathurthi). We can expect an official announcement from the team in the upcoming days with a trailer or a teaser.
