Another Big Movie Out of Sankranti Race?

Salute, starring Dulquer Salmaan, has been shortlisted for the 51st Rotterdam international Film Festival. The panel praised Rosshan Andrews' directorial as well as Dulquer Salmaan's performances, according to reports. Other mollywood films that have recently screened at the Rotterdam Film festival include rajeev Ravi's Thuramukham and Don Palathara's Everything is Cinema. S Durga, directed by Sanal Kumar Sasidharan, won the prestigious Hivos tiger Award at the Rotterdam Film festival in 2017.


The festival's 51st iteration will take place in the netherlands from january 26 to february 6. Dulquer Salmaan's own production company, Wayfarer Films, financed the action thriller. Manoj K. Jayan, Saniya Iyappan, lakshmi Gopalaswamy, Saikumar, and Ganapathi S Poduval star as the female protagonist, with Manoj K. Jayan, Saniya Iyappan, lakshmi Gopalaswamy, Saikumar, and Ganapathi S Poduval playing supporting roles. The proposal's cameraman is Aslam K. Puraiyil, while the background score was produced by Jakes Bejoy. On january 14, 2022, this film will be released in theatres.


Now, the movie which is scheduled ti release on 14th of this month is postponed to a later date due to the Omicron threat. Meanwhile, Dulquer salman will star in Hey Sinamika, directed by Brinda. The female leads in the comedy movie are kajal aggarwal and Aditi Rao Hydari. The film will be released on february 25, 2022, and is co-financed by jio Studios and Global One Studios.
