Cricketer sreesanth is making his kollywood debut with Vijay Sethupathi's Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaathal.
Sreesanth was a prominent name in cricket circuit who was also part of both 2007 and 2011 world cup winning teams. He had a good run and was an aggressive player on the field. He didn't shy to get on controversy.
While he was having an active caree, he got into match fixing scandal in 2013 and he was handed a 5 year ban. His ban was lifted a few years back and he has still been trying to make a comeback but hardly anyone has cared. He has acted in a few films over the years.
Now, he is all set to enter the tamil film industry. Sreesanth plays a pivotal role in Vijay Sethupathi's upcoming film Kathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal.
Directed by Vignesh Shivan, this film features Nayanthara and samantha in the other lead roles.
Recently, the first look poster of sreesanth from the film got released for his birthday. He plays the character called Mohammed Mobi in the movie. Sreesanth looks dapper in a black suit and aviators. The details of his character are currently kept under wraps. Anirudh Ravichander has scored music for the movie.
