Doctor Strange 2 Won’t Be CGI Nonsense

Star doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, according to Benedict Cumberbatch, will not be CGI gibberish because it will improve the characters' development. As the Marvel Cinematic Universe expands into the realm of interdimensional adventures, the sequel continues the stories of WandaVision, Loki season 1 and Spider-Man: No Way Home. doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness finds the titular sorcerer still reeling from the events of the previous film, as he and Sorcerer supreme Wong discover the multiverse's portals have remained open, unleashing a mysterious and powerful new opponent.


Cumberbatch acts alongside Benedict Wong as Wong, Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Mordo, rachel McAdams as Christina Palmer, and Michael Stuhlbarg as Nicodemus West in doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. In addition, Xochitl Gomez will make her MCU debut as America Chavez, while Patrick Stewart will reprise his role as professor Charles Xavier from Fox's X-Men film series. doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has had a hard route to production due to behind-the-scenes creative alterations, but it is finally set to enter theatres in May.


Benedict Cumberbatch revealed new details about doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in a recent interview with Vanity Fair. When asked about the MCU sequel's special effects, Cumberbatch vowed that there won't be a lot of CGI "crap," but that it will instead provide vital character development for everyone involved in the plot.
