The Batman First Reactions Released Early - Check how they are!
The first reviews for The Batman are really not due for another week, but a few blurbs have arrived early in a surprise delivery. The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson as the eponymous crime fighter, will be released in theatres on march 4, 2022, during the first weekend of the month. The picture will create its own micro Batman universe, with Pattinson's version of the character residing in a separate Gotham from Ben Affleck's comic character from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League.
Affleck will also feature with Michael Keaton's Batman in the forthcoming The Flash film. Pattinson's Batman will be dispensing vigilante justice to Gotham much sooner in his term. After two years of patrolling the streets, he comes across infamous serial killer The Riddler (Paul Dano) and is forced to grudgingly partner up with Catwoman (Zoe Kravitz) for an investigation that may disclose terrible secrets about his own family.
Following The Penguin, who will be featured in the movie and played by Colin Farrell, this Batman universe will continue in the future HBO Max series. Matt Reeves, the director of The Batman, is also in advanced discussions to develop the sequel.
