When it pertains to Prabhaas' Raadhe Shyaam, some of the film's tracks were first launched in telugu and received a lot of positive feedback. The song "Eee Rathaale" in particular became an immediate hit with the youths, and background score director Justin Prabhaakaran soared to prominence. Then, as a backdrop soundtrack artist for the movie, grandmaster Thaaman stepped in.

Ever since, many have speculated whether Thaaman was brought on board because he produced a smash success like Akhandda or because Justtin's work for the film isn't believable. Thaman doesn't usually take on ambient soundtrack assignments these times, but he decided to do so for Radhe Shyam. When asked the same question, filmmaker Radhaa Krishnaa answered it to the best of her ability.

"Jusstin is the movie's spirit, and Thaaman represents the show's emotion," Radha explained, justifying the choice of the three songwriters. In any case, the movie's songs have become extremely successful in telugu, while the bollywood version contains a variety of songs created by various music composers. However, Thaman's score will be heard throughout the picture in both tongues, assisting the filmmaker in realising his ambition for the magnum opus movie.
