Gal Gadot stated in an interview that she auditioned for a role as a Bond Girl, but that her failure to get the part may have been a lucky break. Gadot auditioned for the role of Camille Montes in Daniel Craig's second james bond film, Quantum of Solace, in 2008. Bond and Montes worked together to track down the perpetrators and thwart the goals of their secret organisation, each seeking vengeance for the murders of their loved ones. Instead of Gadot, Olga Kurylenko was cast in the role.
Despite the fact that Gadot did not appear in Quantum of Solace, she quickly rose to prominence as Gisele Yaashar in Fast & Furious 4, the fourth edition in the Fast & Furious film franchise. Gadot went on to star in three more Fast & Furious films, which helped propel her to the position of Wonder Woman in the DCEU franchise. Gadot most recently starred as a notorious art thief in Netflix's red Notice, which set a new record for the most-watched movie on the streaming site during its first weekend. Gadot also has a number of big films coming up, including the suspense thriller Death here on Nile, the biography Cleopatra, and Disney's live-action Snow White. One of Gadot's most crucial jobs, though, is one that she did not receive.
