Jersey movie: The release of jersey movie is said to be delayed due to anticipation for KGF2 movie in hindi and lack of availability of adequate theaters.
In bollywood, films about india are receiving acclaim. The allu arjun starring pushpa was remade and released in hindi last year, grossing more than Rs 100 crore. Similarly, RRR, helmed by rajamouli and released recently, was a box office success in Bollywood.
The next KGF2 movie starring yash will be released on april 14 in Tamil, Telugu, hindi, malayalam and Kannada. As the anticipation for KGF2 in hindi continues to skyrocket, the hindi version of the film alone is set to be released in over 3,000 theaters.
A few months back, it was announced that the jersey film starring Shakit Kapoor as a rival to the KGF2 film would also be released.
But with just 3 days to go before the release, the release date of the jersey movie has now been abruptly changed. It has been announced that the film will be released a week later, on april 22nd.
The release of jersey is said to be delayed due to anticipation for KGF2 in hindi and the lack of availability in theaters. Fear of a dubbed film is a bit surprising when you see a bollywood film retreating.
