Corona has already reduced the number of spectators coming to the theaters. The revolution of OTTs started in Covid time .. There are not less than three or four OTT subscriptions in every house. Lots of content available in them. New movies, web series and shows are available from time to time. people do not have time to watch them. If you want to go to the theater and see a movie .. it has to be very special.

Unless you have a strong feeling that you want to go to the theaters and watch the movie .. the average viewer does not seem to be moving towards the silver screens. This is especially true for family audiences. Whether the government has given a chance in such adverse conditions or not, the fact that ticket prices are going up unnecessarily seems to be a curse to the industry.

Rates for 'RRR' movie have been increased in Telangana. The brand value of Rajamouli's films, the visual experience of watching his films, the star power in this film, the audience must go to the theaters to see the film. But the majority of the audience was dissatisfied with the ticket prices. So there was a demand so it went away. But will the audience be satisfied if the rates for the rest of the films are also increased? Allready spent heavily for ‘RRR’. The crazy movie 'KGF-2' is coming on Thursday. The rate hike looks set for it. That means it's guaranteed to go out of pocket. In that case, if the rates for the dubbed film 'Beast' are increased, will the masses be incensed?

But dil Raju, who is releasing the film in telugu, got greedy. He got permission to increase the rate from Rs 150 on single screens to Rs 175. Tickets are being sold accordingly. The rate crosses Rs 200 when combined with internet handling charges. This is frustrating the audience. Advance bookings have been made for Vijay's last film 'Master' in telugu in a range. But despite the craze for ‘Beast’, if bookings are not promising .. there is no doubt that the reason is the high ticket prices.

Is the rate of Rs.150 more than anything other than greed to see it further increased and punished? people liked the movie 'RRR' so much that they looked at it but .. everyone saw how negative the rate hike turned out to be for 'Radheshyam'. Films like Standup Rahul, Mission Impossible and Gani have been badly damaged by the rise in rates. The situation of the Allready theaters has become embarrassing due to the blow of the OTTs. tollywood producers and distributors are likely to incur huge losses in the long run for temporary purposes.
