The Beast movie has surpassed the KGF2 movie record. But despite the huge opening the day before the release of the Beast movie and also the negative reviews that followed have reduced the film's collection. It has been reported that the Beast movie has grossed Rs 120 crore so far. Nelson's Beast movie with Thalapathy in it, is the 7th highest-grossing movie in tamil Nadu. KGF2 movie is ranked 9th on the list.

 KGF Part 2, directed by prashant Neel and starring Yash, was released on the 14th of last month. KGF2, which grossed over Rs 130 crore on the day of its release, has recently crossed Rs 1000 crore.
kgf 2 set a record by collecting the total gross of bahubali Part 1 earlier 7 days after the release of the film. Following this, the dangal film starring aamir khan in hindi grossed more than the box office record.
