Rachel Zegler as Snow White in costume for Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs has been revealed for the first time. Zegler most recently appeared in Steven Spielberg's West Side Story before landing the role of the famous Disney princess in the most current live-action rendition of their animation classics. Marc Webb of The Amazing Spider-Man directs the film, which stars Zegler, Andrew Burnap, and Gal Gadot of Wonder Woman as the Evil Queen.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is based on the same-named Grimm Fairy Tale and was adapted by Disney in 1937, becoming the first-ever full-length feature animated film and a treasured genre classic. The plot revolves around a young girl who lives with her stepmother, the Evil queen, who is threatened by her attractiveness. When a magical mirror informs the Evil queen that Snow White is "the fairest of them all," she orders a Huntsman to take her to the forest to murder her.
However, he is unable to do so and enables her to flee into the woods, where she is befriended by seven dwarfs who take her in and live in peace with her until the Evil queen discovers her existence and attempts to kill her once more with a poisoned apple.
