Devoleena Bhattacharjee is horrified after a murder occurred in her mumbai apartment complex, where she lives alone with her cat. According to india Today, devoleena revealed that a domestic assistant was murdered by a man and her body was dumped on the railway tracks when speaking to the Times of India. Bhattacharjee is awaiting her mother's arrival in mumbai following the event.
During the talk, devoleena mentioned that society's security measures need to be strengthened, and she added, "After this occurrence, I'm afraid, and sitting at home alone with my cat has suddenly become a bit frightening. The incident took place on the same property where I reside. After what happened, I applaud the cops for acting so quickly, but I believe that gated communities and other residential buildings should have strong safety measures in place, as well as thorough background checks on the employees they hire."
Devoleena's mother has traveled to assam to attend her brother's wedding, and she expects her mother to live in with her after the wedding. "My brother is getting married shortly, so my mother will stay in assam until then, but after the wedding, I would like her to come live with me. It will make me happy, and I will no longer be living in mumbai alone with my cat."
