Due to the investigation of the case, she was banned from going abroad. In this connection, the actress has applied in a delhi court in which she has sought permission to attend the IIFA Awards 2022 in Abu Dhabi and travel abroad. Giving relief to Jacqueline, the court has allowed her to go to IIFA. The actress has got permission to go abroad from May 31 to june 6.
Jacqueline Fernandez is in trouble due to a money laundering case. A few days ago, the ED, while investigating the case, seized the actress's property worth 7 crores. Apart from this, by issuing a lookout circular against Jacqueline, the ED had banned her foreign travel. At present, he has got permission to go abroad. Jacqueline will be staying at the W Hotel at marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. During this, she will share all her information with the agency. Apart from this, whatever conditions the court will impose, they will also have to abide by them.
Apart from this, the court said that Jacqueline will also have to deposit an FDR of 50 lakhs and a surety amount of Rs 50 lakhs. If Jacqueline does not come back then FDR of 50 lakhs will be forfeited.
Jacqueline had told the ED in her statement recorded last year that she had received many gifts like three Gucci designer bags, two Gucci outfits for gym wear, and two diamond earrings. Sukesh gave gifts worth Rs 5.71 crore to Jacqueline. He also gave funds to Jacqueline's family members about US$173,000 and around Australian$27,000.
Talking about Sukesh Chandrashekhar there, he is accused of defrauding people of Rs 200 crore. He spent some of this money on Jacqueline Fernandez. Sukesh Chandrashekhar is currently lodged in Tihar Jail. She had revealed the names of some bollywood celebrities including jacqueline fernandez during interrogation, after which the actress came under the radar of ED.
