RRR was directed by rajamouli and starred Jr. ntr and Ramcharan. The release date of the movie was delayed due to corona spread and the film was, at last, released on march 25. rrr movie which was released as a Pan-India film at a very huge cost, the film has crossed Rs 1,000 crore in indian cinema.
The film, which was made in 3D format also with the best action scenes, got great responses in tamil Nadu as well. Between May 23 and 29, there were 18,360,000 hours of viewing on Netflix.
Accordingly, rrr film is the first film on Netflix and also a non-English language film that has received huge views on Netflix. This is what rrr is currently creating.
Not only theatrical but also the reception of OTT is now considered commercially important for a film. In that sense, RRR's achievement is a great victory in indian cinema.
