Rhea Bought Drugs For Sushanth: NCB In Chargesheet
Bollywood actress rhea chakraborty has been prosecuted by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for purchasing drugs and giving them to her boyfriend, actor sushanth Singh Rajput, who committed suicide in june 2020. In this well-known case, the drug control agency filed a chargesheet against Rhea and 34 other people.
According to the complaint, between march 2020 and september 2020, Rhea Chakroborty received many delivery of marijuana (ganja) from Samuel Miranda, Showik Chakraborty (Rhea's brother), Dipesh Sawant, and other individuals and gave such deliveries to the late actor sushant singh Rajput. On Wednesday, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) gave copies of the draught charges it had filed under the Narcotic drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act to a special court as well as to a number of the defendants in the drug case it had opened following the untimely death of actor sushant singh Rajput.
Rhea was arrested in accordance with NDPS Act 1985 Section 8[c] read with 20[b][ii]A, 27A,28,29 & 30. Rhea, however, is listed as the tenth accused in the chargesheet and data-faces a ten-year prison sentence if found guilty. Along with NCB, the cbi is looking into sushanth Singh Rajput's inexplicable suicide, and the Enforcement Directorate is looking into the financial component of the heroin purchase. Rhea was caught in september 2020, and she was imprisoned for over a month.
