‘Pushpa’ Inspiration For ‘Liger’ Is A Big Misfire!
By the time the movie pushpa gets to its finale, sukumar has already done a good job of establishing the personalities of allu arjun and Fahadh Faasil. He thoroughly played with their characterizations throughout those crucial times. Although reviews of Pushpa's final 30 minutes were divided, it was recognised that this was how it was intended to introduce the next section. So it was successful in that instance.
Regarding Liger, Mike Tyson's persona is only briefly and haphazardly introduced in the final section. His character was written so inadequately by the end that he was just depicted as a big goon. Throughout the finale scenes, nobody could relate to him. As a result, the fight between the protagonist vijay deverakonda and mike tyson in the conclusion turns out to be a total bust. If puri was at all influenced by Pushpa's climax when writing this one, then the star director delivered an utterly appalling performance.
