Film Nagar Club Elections Land In Row!

Numerous organisations, unions, and associations in the telugu cinema industry hold elections once every two or three years. Every time an election is held, a controversy of some sort arises. We witnessed how much heat and dust were generated during the movie Artistes' Association elections (MAA). They were just as dramatic and tumultuous as the elections for the assembly or the parliament. The day was filled with accusations and denials, regular news briefings, and attacks and denials on social media.

However, because they involve influential people in the industry, elections for the producers' council and telugu Film Chamber of Commerce are always amicable affairs. The people who actually matter in the industry perform behind the scenes roles, while individuals who made movies decades ago but are now out of date sit in top positions. The most recent dispute in the sector involves the elections for the film nagar Cultural Club. With the assistance of the N T Rama Rao administration, this club was established during the DVS Raju administration. The government gave this club land in Jubilee Hills, and there are facilities for the club and a hostel there as well.

Over 4,500 people are members of the FNCC. Since the cost of lifetime membership in this club is Rs 16 lakh, it is exceedingly difficult for average people to join. The only people who initially belonged to this club were individuals who owned plots in Film Nagar. Later, this society began to include plot owners' children as members in addition to themselves. Politicians, real estate brokers, and other wealthy and powerful people were subsequently granted membership.
