The Politics behind 'REDDY' in Veera Simha Reddy

One reason is because Naidu wants to portray the reddy community as a dangerous caste that wants to exterminate the Kammas and does not want it to have a heroic reputation. Second, given the film's obvious political overtones, it could give the impression that Balrishna is specifically targeting the reddy group because he is a Kamma.

The tdp leader reportedly asked balakrishna to change the character's name, if not the word "Reddy," at least from the title. Naidu's concerns were dismissed by balakrishna, however, on the grounds that it needed to be investigated from a business perspective. So, despite the title's strange appearance, he kept "Veera simha Reddy".

In reality, there is no such thing as a "Veera Simham" (courageous lion); instead, one can discover words like "Ugra Simham" or "Vijaya Simham," among others. But the final word is Balakrishna's. Additionally, he enjoys using the term "Simha" in the titles of his movies, as all of Balakrishna's movies with that word in the title go on to become enormous box office successes. The international debut of "Veera simha Reddy" is slated for Sankranthi in 2023. Stay tuned for more updates.
