Will Smith: Will Smith revealed, only Floyd Mayweather called him after the oscar slap incident
An incident took everyone by surprise at the 94th oscar Awards ceremony held this year when hollywood star Will Smith punched comedian chris Rock in front of everyone on stage. Now Will talked about this whole controversy and told that he was really in a dark place about this incident but at that time there was only one person with him and that was Floyd Mayweather. He told how Floyd Mayweather supported Will Smith in difficult times after that incident.
Will was quoted as saying that Floyd Mayweather called him every day for 10 days after the incident, just to make sure he was okay. TMZ reported this, based on a video obtained by Sports, in which Will can be heard saying, "I want to say something about Floyd too... so, we've met, we've met each other. Have seen the other, but we were not like that".
He continued, "And, the day after the Oscars, he called me every day for 10 days," Smith said. "And, he was like, 'You know you're a winner, right? Are you good? You know you're a winner, I want you to hear my voice.' "He called me every day...and it's like my friend is there forever." According to the information, Smith revealed this at a private show of his new film 'Dimensions' held at a hotel in London
It is worth noting that during the oscar Awards 2022, chris Rock was hosting the ceremony and during this, he joked about the hair of Will Smith's wife Jenda. After which Will lost his cool and went on stage and angrily punched chris Rock. However, later Will Smith was very embarrassed for his action and he also apologized. The actor was also banned from the Oscars after this incident.
