Vijay's 250, 300 crores stories are all fake..!?

Usually, with big hero films, the build-up is a bit over the top. The film crew on one side, the fans of the actors on one side, and the actors who acted together on the other side will change and change the build-up until the film is released. Because of this over-game, even the worst films can make half a buck in ticket bookings. cinema is not what it used to be but now everything is overhyped. Motion poster, first-look poster, trailer, teaser, song promo, lyrical video, sneak peek, updates and exclusives before the release of each film are built up to the extent that the fans don't forget the film.
Thalapathy Vijay's Varisu is the film that has been garnering buzz lately. There have been a lot of updates since the release of Varisu, which is being made simultaneously in both tamil and telugu languages. Ever since the update came last diwali that the film will be released for Pongal, they have started talking about the business of the film. OTT license for so many crores, satellite license for so many crores, business for 250 crores, business for 300 crores, record-breaking businesses were published one after another. Can you believe that Varisu, which is said to have made crores overseas, has yet to be bought by anyone locally? Speaking in a recent interview, a theater owner openly stated this fact. In other words, the theater owners do not know which distributors have bought Varisu in the Chengalpattu district. If you look at it like that, no one has bought Varisu in Chengalpattu yet.
These are all stunts where the filmmakers spend crores of money and have to somehow get the money they put in. Sometimes the fans of the respective actors get stuck like this by giving such buildups thinking who is going to know?
