Superstar Stopped at Airport for carrying Costly Watches
The mumbai Airport Customs sleuths stopped bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan in his tracks on saturday for possessing a number of pricey watches and other expensive devices, according to officials. The Customs Department detained Khan and other passengers with him on their journey from sharjah to mumbai because they had an apple Watch and six other expensive electronic devices in their luggage.
After the air Intelligence Unit at the Chhatrpati shivaji Maharaj international Airport (CSMIA) screened their bags, the expensive items, estimated to be worth Rs 17.85 lakh, were found after a comprehensive examination. Based on this assessment, the Customs assessed the actor and his colleagues a duty of Rs 6.83 lakh, or around 38.5 percent, and they were permitted to go this afternoon.
