Balakrishna’s Dream Not Possible Without Her
Balakrishna said during the Dhamki trailer launch ceremony that he will direct the sequel to the critically acclaimed sci-fi action drama Aditya 369 in 2023. Aditya 369 is a cult film that is still popular among people of all ages. Technically and content-wise, the film was well ahead of its time. Today, film and the technologies employed in it have advanced to the point where the sequel to Aditya 369 must be done with the highest technological values or it would be rejected.
Balakrishna is a throwback, and his sensibilities are a little out of date. We don't know how technically advanced he is to oversee the sequel's VFX, set designs, and other departments. He is not even on social media, so he may be unaware of how meticulously people have begun dissecting a film's CGI and VFX. He should understand that having a solid script is no longer enough these days.
If balakrishna wants to make a memorable film, he should make sure that his daughter tejaswini is fully involved in the creative team of the Aditya 369 sequel. Nandamuri tejaswini was involved in Aha's Unstoppable, which transformed Balayya's image. She is someone who can advise him on how to make a film that is technically up to date. Let's hope Aditya 999 (tentative title) is a suitable successor to the great Aditya 369.
