Malayalam director KP Sasi, who was suffering due to ill health, passed away without treatment. malayalam director KP Sasi passed away. Sasi, who was admitted to a private hospital in thrissur due to ill health, died yesterday. He was 64 years old. His death has left the malayalam film industry sad. He was the son of writer and communist thinker K Damodaran. director KP Sasi became famous with the movie 'Ilaiyum Mullum' which was released in the year 1994. For this film, he also won the prestigious National Award. Apart from this, he has also directed famous documentaries.
While studying at JNU in 1970, he also had the experience of working in the cartoon industry. He made his bollywood debut in the year 2003 with the film 'Ek Alak Mausam'. The film featured Nandita Das, Anupam Kher, and renuka shahane in lead roles. Famous malayalam actor Gopi also played a guest role in the film.
