First Sankranthi Film To Reach Breakeven
Tollywood's significant Sankranthi releases are Veera simha Reddy and Waltair Veerayya. The short film Kalyanam Kamaneeyam is also available. Although good in both parts, balakrishna excels as Veera Simha. In addition to his usual mass histrionics, he also performed many poignant sequences. Characters played by shruti haasan and honey rose are given little screen time. Varalakshmi Sarat Kumar receives the role supported by the author; she performed excellently. Although the main antagonist, Duniya Vijay, seems shrewd and ferocious, his villainy is lacking. murali Sharma's contribution is minimal and lacking.
