The movie's trailer was released via the actor Vijay Sethupathi's social media profile. Noyrika, an Iranian actress, is the sixth heroine in the movie. Kalaiyarasan, yogi Babu, Karunakaran, john Vijay, Sha Ra, and Lollu Sabha Manohar are also featured in the movie.
The movie was filmed in and around Pollachi, Udumalaipettai, and Chennai. Deekay has previously said about the characters the actress plays, "Kajal's character has a superpower, but she won't realize it. Kajal's persona is exactly like Regina's. Raiza's personality has karu nakku, which means that anything she says is true. The character that janani portrays has a fixation, similar to how some people obsess over certain foods or have a thing for wearing outfits that match.
This is similar to that yet a little different. And intentionally making a joke, Noyirka's character is literally out of this planet. As per the story, the actress will be harassed and raped in public and her character will be set in pre-independence era.
