SRK's Pathaan broke the collections of Thunivu & Varisu..!?

Vijay's Varisu and Ajith's Thunivu, which were released for the pongal festival, together collected only Rs.500 crore. Pathaan, directed by siddharth Anand, has Shah Rukh Khan as the hero. Starring bollywood actress deepika padukone as the heroine and john abraham as the villain, the film was released on 25th january last year on more than 7000 screens worldwide. The film, which has been receiving an overwhelming response since its release, has also achieved various achievements in the collection. Accordingly, the film Pathaan collected Rs. 106 crores on its first day. This made it the first bollywood film to collect more than Rs 100 crore on its first day. Apart from this, since there were successive holidays, the collection hunt for Pathaan continued for the last 5 days.
Accordingly, the film collected Rs. 540 crores in five days. Due to yesterday being a working day, the collection of Pathaan has seen a slight decline.
The film collected more than Rs.60 crores only yesterday. With this, the film has collected more than Rs.600 crores in six days of its release. While Vijay's Varisu and Ajith's Thunivu, which were released last pongal festival, collected only Rs.500 crores in total, Pathaan has surpassed all that in six days. If it goes at the same pace, the film is said to be likely to reach Rs.1000 crore collection.
