Union minister and former tv actress smriti irani reached jodhpur from delhi today i.e. on the morning of february 8, 2023, to attend the wedding of her daughter Shanelle Irani. Union women and Child Development minister left for Nagaur by road after reaching jodhpur airport.

The wedding ceremonies will be held on 8 and 9 february 2023 at the 15th-century Khimsar fort, which will be attended by family members and close friends. Now both are all set to tie the knot soon and the wedding celebrations are going to last for three days. Khimsar fort, surrounded by dunes, is now a heritage hotel. Khimsar fort is located near the village of Khinwasar, halfway between jodhpur and Nagaur, on the eastern edge of the Thar Desert in the Nagaur district of Rajasthan. The fort was built in 1523 by Rao Karamji, the 8th son of Rao Jodha of Jodhpur. Mughal ruler Aurangzeb used to stay here while living in Nagaur. According to sources, this fort is 500 years old and was built in the 15th century. Here you can go on a desert safari during the day and spend a relaxing night under the stars. The fort gives a romantic allure, especially during sunrise and sunset.
