In order for his fans to identify with his character and be more interested in watching him on screen,
bollywood actor
ranbir kapoor stated that he chooses to avoid
social media or reveal less of his personal side. He also thought of himself as "boring" and believed that he could not maintain amusing
people on
social media all the time.
He revealed: "There are many reasons for this, but I
believe that the mystery that formerly surrounded performers is now slowly evaporating. Consumers are less likely to
watch us in theatres, in my opinion, because they are seeing us everywhere on screens while promoting or running advertisements, as well as on
social media now. Hence, I had the
idea that I should portray my character less overtly so that the
audience could more easily identify with and buy into it."
The
movie "Ajab
prem Ki Gajab Kahani" introduced the
audience to Ranbir as a
romantic hero. Later, in the political drama "Raajneeti," he appeared in a different role. In films like "Rockstar" and "Barfi," he displayed his acting prowess. The actor recently celebrated the
success of his
movie "Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva," and right now he is actively promoting "Tu Jhooti Main Makkar," in which he co-stars with Shraddha Kapoor.
