TS Govt & India Govt To Felicitate RRR Team?
As keeravani and chandrabose won the oscar for "Best Original Song" the other day, praise for the "Naatu Naatu" song and the rrr crew came pouring in from all directions. And it appears that the governments of telangana and india will now alternate in congratulating this team.
A felicitation for the rrr team inside the house was asked today by RS mp CM Ramesh (BJP), who is a member of the rajyasabha and the father of rrr writer Rajamouli. vijayendra prasad was nominated under the President Category by none other than prime minister Narendra Modi. Even many members of the house expressed their approval of the matter, and it appears that congratulations are in the works.
The telangana government is also preparing a significant award for the rrr crew, however, given the majority of the movie was shot in hyderabad and practically all of the top actors and professionals are Hyderabad-only residents. Even the centrally-ruling party is reportedly moving to honor the rrr crew as word of the particular felicitation the TS government will give them upon their return spreads. Some are also wondering if there would be any more celebrations for the team besides just meeting them at the chief minister's office so that the telugu flag will actually fly higher. Let's wait and see.
