Many questions are being raised on this film. Amid controversies regarding this, the tamil Nadu government had already stopped its release. At the same time, now West bengal cm mamta Banerjee has announced to ban the film in the state. While giving this decision on Monday, he said that he has taken this step to maintain peace in the state and to avoid the danger of any kind of hate crime and violence.
Many people associated with politics have expressed objection to this decision of mamta Banerjee. Union minister Anurag Thakur said on this matter that 'The kerala Story exposes some such people who want to trap girls on the path of terrorism. Some political parties are opposing it. If they are protesting then they support PFI, terrorism and ISIS.
