Adipurush Hindi Advance Bookings - Can it reach RRR target ?
Advance ticket sales for Prabhas' much anticipated film Adipurush have begun, though nothing exceptional. The reaction has been outstanding, with the two top movie theatre chains, PVR and Inox, selling almost 12,000 tickets over the course of the weekend. For the first day of the screening, 60% of these tickets were purchased. It's important to note that the majority of the movie's screenings to date have been for the 3D version.
According to the most recent information, Adipurush (Hindi) has reportedly sold roughly 8000 tickets across the three major national chains, PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis, just on the first day of release. With 3,000 each, PVR and Inox are in the lead, followed by Cinepolis at about 2000. In telugu states, reservations have not yet been made because the team is awaiting the approval of the price increase! In Karnataka, the reservations have only recently opened, and the response has been respectable.
By surpassing KGF's 5.5 lakh tickets, Pathaan has sold the most seats in advance sales this year, somewhere around six lakh. In the hindi version, rrr opened to about 19 crores after crossing the 1.05 lakh threshold. We must wait to see how far Adipurush will advance bookings go and if it will surpass RRR's advance sales figures.
