In that old interview, rekha had praised aishwarya fiercely. rekha had said that aishwarya is the best model and actress. She had even said that if need be, she would fight for Aishwarya. 

Rekha had said, "Among the models I admire, I like aishwarya the best. I disagree with the media that she is 'plastic' (plastic surgery). I find her very expressive. I look up to her when needed."
