The movie 'Adipurush' has been banned in some places including nepal due to the controversy caused by the dialogue in the movie. Directed by Om Rawat, starring prabhas as ram and kriti sanon as Sita, the movie 'Adipurush' was released on june 16th worldwide. The film is based on the story of Ramayana and is made in 3D technology with a budget of around 600 crores. Although the film grossed over 100 crores worldwide on its first day, the collection continued to decline due to mixed reviews. If this situation happens, the production company is confused about whether they will get the money invested.
Similarly, there was a stir due to reports that the Adipurush film crew had contacted those who had given negative reviews and negotiated a deal. Following this, Adipurush has been banned in nepal and all hindi films have been banned in the capital Kathmandu and the tourist town of Pokhara. The reason why controversies have erupted against the film Adipurush is because of some of the scenes and dialogues in the film. Controversy has increased in nepal, especially over the dialogues in the film, which refer to Sita as 'India's daughter'.
Due to this, 17 theaters in Kathmandu have been banned from showing hindi films. police are also said to have been deployed there. Not only in nepal but also in India, no hindi film will be allowed to be screened in Kathmandu Metropolitan City until the 'Janagi Bharat ki ek peti hai' is removed from the film Adipurush, Kathmandu Mayor Balendra Shah said yesterday. Meanwhile, Pokhara Metropolis Mayor dhanraj Acharya said that the film will not be screened in theaters from Monday. Hindus constitute about 80 percent of Nepal's population. people here believe that Sita was born in Janakpur in Nepal.
