'Hakim Ali' in support of '72 Huron'- who told propaganda?
Pavan Malhotra has played memorable roles in films like 'Black Friday'. He is now in headlines because of '72 Hooren', in which he has become terrorist Hakim Ali. A section is calling it a propaganda film. Even before the trailer was released, the film was mired in controversies. The Censor Board refused to give the certificate to the film. Now a police complaint has been lodged against the makers. He has been accused of insulting religion and harming communal harmony. Now Pawan Malhotra has come to the rescue of the film.
Pawan Malhotra said in a conversation with india Today that due to the controversy over 'The kashmir Files' and 'The kerala Story', people have put '72 Hurren' in the same category. The actor said that if such films are made, then no one should object to it. He clarified that even before the release of 'The kashmir Files', '72 Hooren' was made. The film's director Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan received the National Award for this in the year 2019.
The screening of 72 Hooren was also held in JNU. The makers felt it necessary that Kashmiri Muslims and other students should get an opportunity to express their opinion on the film which brings out the bitter truth of the terrorist camp. Pawan Malhotra did not understand why there was so much controversy about 'The kashmir Files'. He did not find anything controversial in this. Apart from Pawan Malhotra in the film '72 Hooren', Aamir Bashir is in the role of a terrorist. The entire story of the film has been written around these two characters. Most of the people are in support of the film and are telling it right.
