The director made me drink drugs..!?

TV actress Ratan Rajput has shared the experience of casting couch in a conversation. According to him, a director had drugged him. According to Ratan, it all happened after an audition and she didn't know anything about it. Ratan Rajput has worked in serials like 'Raavan', 'Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo', 'Dil Se diya Wakan' and 'Santoshi Maa'. In a conversation with a news website, Ratan Rajput said, "There was a hotel in Oshiwara (Mumbai) where all the auditions were held. I went to audition and saw many well-known actors there. I gave my audition, but the director was not present there. Some low-level co-ordinator took the audition and said, "You have done very well ma'am. Sir was only talking about you. Yours will be mine." I said - ok. I had this habit of not going anywhere alone. I had a friend with me who had come with me for the dance audition. Well, the coordinator asked me to take the script and go to the meeting. Told me to be ready. I didn't understand what was going on."

Ratan said, “I went to another hotel for a meeting where they kept asking us to have cold drinks. We took a sip reluctantly. Then they said they would call us for another audition. Me and my friend went home. Arrived. I was suspecting that something was mixed in the cold drink. I was feeling restless. A few hours later I got a call and was called for another audition. The script was useless. Many would say why didn't I say no. But at that point, you start doubting yourself that you're holding back on getting the job done."

Ratan continues, “My friend and I reached MHADA to audition. It was a very strange place. When I entered there, I saw that the place was in ruins. that a girl was lying there drunk. I understood that what had to happen had already happened. The man came outside to me and started shouting why she had come with her boyfriend. I said that he was my brother. There was something in that drink, in which you cannot control yourself even when you are conscious. We said sorry and left."

Ratan Rajput says, "I would call casting couch intention. I have never disclosed about the casting couch. Not even during the #MeToo campaign. But it is very important to talk about it. I am on YouTube and I got many emails. Especially from the young generation. They asked me to guide them. So I thought they should know the truth. They shouldn't be depressed. It is said that if four people do something wrong, the whole industry goes bad. It doesn't happen. It's very important to know that not all people are the same."
