Bholaa Shankar feels like a Film that should have been made Decades ago
Bhola shankar feels like a movie that ought to have been created a few decades ago, whether it's a comedy, an action movie, or an emotional movie. The writing's constant lack of engagement and cringe-inducing tone just serves to exacerbate the impact. A typical commercial performer is Bhola Shankar. Here, entertaining with just the right amount of humour, action, and emotion is the main goal. In this sense, the first half is primarily made up of the entertainment portion.
The comedy doesn't work, which is the issue; instead, it frustrates. The best example is the complete song with chiranjeevi and vennela Kishore. That's not it, though. There are still more embarrassing songs that are inappropriate for a Megastar. Around the halfway point, the story takes a turn, but nobody reacts to it. It merely goes along with the flow, but more importantly, the break is welcome after everything that came before. Due of the increased emphasis on action and emotion, the second half seems significantly better. The entire piece is written in a serious tone, which more often than not causes boredom.
