Will Jyothika play lead role in 'Thalapathy 68”?
director venkat prabhu is all set to direct Vijay for the tentatively titled Thalapathy 68. The official announcement was made a couple of months back and the movie will be going on grounds by the end of the year. While Vijay will be playing the lead role, movie makers have reportedly approached actress Jyothikato play the female lead in the movie.
According to reports, the movie makers have approached the actress asking for her availability and have asked for dates in october and november 2023 to shoot for her parts in the film. jyothika has previously acted with Vijay in kushi and Thirumalai and if the actress agrees for the project, the actor and actress will be reuniting on screen after 20 years. The film's music will be composed by Yuvan shankar Raja.
The movie makers are soon expected to announce the cast and crew of the film. director venkat prabhu recently revealed that the film will be a full on entertainer and it will not be political. The director also said the pre-production work, cast and shooting location finalisation is underway and the announcement of the title will be made in a fiery way after the release of 'Leo' in October.
