Rajinikanth's hit Jailer has collected more than Rs.500 crores at the box office. Rajinikanth's movie Jailer, directed by Nelson, hit the screens on august 10. Since the first day of its release, the film has been garnering positive reviews, and Jailer has been consistently doing well at the box office. The film collected Rs. 375 crores in a single week and was released worldwide, now the 10-day box office status of the film has been released.
Accordingly, the Jailer movie has created a new record by collecting Rs.500 crores in 10 days. By this, Jailer has broken the box office record of Ponniyin Selvan, which was released last year and collected Rs.500 crores. According to reports, Jailer movie has collected Rs.511 crores so far. As today is also a holiday, the collection of the film is likely to increase.Jailer also featured kannada actor shiva Rajkumar and malayalam superstar mohanlal in cameo roles along with Rajinikanth, making the film a No. 1 hit in these states as well. Vikram's 40 crore collection was the record in Kerala, but now Jailer has topped the list of the highest-grossing tamil film in Kerala. Similarly, while 2.0 was the highest-grossing tamil film in Karnataka, now Jailer has broken that record and is showing mass. Jailer, which is running a collection hunt in every state, is expected to set the record of highest-grossing tamil film soon. So far, 2.0 has been the record holder of over Rs.600 crores.
