Did Producers over-spend on Skanda & Kushi Events ?

Events undoubtedly generate positive discussion for a movie. But are they going too far? Are producers currently overspending on the events? If we take into account two recent tollywood events, the kushi musical concert and the skanda pre-release event. While the price of kushi was around Rs 3 crore, the cost of the Skanda event, which included a live concert by Thaman, was estimated to be Rs 75 lakh.

Top vocalists like Arman Malik and other performers were brought in along with renowned technicians for the Thaman & Co. live music show at skanda event. The cost of their pay, travel, entourage, and accommodations was enormous for the producers. kushi is in the same situation. The producers are persuaded to hold a large musical concert that would cost Rs 3 crore in place of the pre-release celebration. For this project, one of the best drone operators in the nation was hired. Without a doubt, the Kushi event generated some good attention for the movie.

The hype created by Thaman's live music performance at the Skanda event, however, is not worth the money spent by the organisers. It appears that manufacturers have little alternative except to heavily burn their cash reserves. It would have generated stronger buzz for the movie if the creators had been judicious and the money had been utilised more wisely.

It's a really positive development that the performers and producers are aware of the film's promotion and marketing. Without a question, the film's substance and advertising both matter. The noise the individual films generate will determine the movie's opening day takings. Because of all these factors, several producers overspent on the events. The manufacturers would benefit if the teams developed procedures that were inexpensive.

The hero of the movie Miss Shetty, Mr. Polishetty, nevertheless, also participated in several trips where he aggressively promoted the movie. vijay deverakonda extensively promoted the movie kushi by touring and visiting institutions. He participated in a live Q&A to create a big splash on social media. All of these are admirable.
