Director Atlee's 'Jawan' expected to make Rs 1000 crore at box office

director Atlee's latest film 'Jawan' starring Shah Rukh Khan has become a blockbuster hit nationwide. The movie is inching towards breaking all the records set and is expected to make Rs 1000 crore at the box office. The film was released in theatres on september 7 in Hindi, tamil and Telugu. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, deepika Padukone, yogi Babu, priyamani among others and the film's music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

Though Atlee's films - 'Bigil', 'Mersal', 'Theri' all have been commercially successful, the director over the years has been criticised by many as well for his films. Explaining it for the first time, atlee un a recent media interaction revealed that his direction style is much different from lokesh kanagaraj, karthik Subbaraj and Pa Ranjtih. Explaining that he is only being criticised for his films portraying scenes or stories that audience have already seen, he said that his style is based on his belief of a commercial star driven film and this leads him to data-face the criticisms. The director also reportedly nothed that the other director have adapted to the different spaces in cinema and his motive is only to entertain the audience and said that he has succeeded so far in that aspect.
